‘Border 2’ Movie to Stream on OTT from the 20th of This Month!

The Bollywood hit franchise film Border 2 is all set to arrive on OTT. The makers have officially announced the streaming date. The film stars Sunny Deol in a key role and was released in theatres as a Republic Day special. It is a sequel to the blockbuster film Border, which was released in 1997 and became a huge success. The movie also features Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh in important roles and is directed by Anurag Singh.

The story of the film is based on the 1971 India – Pakistan war. It highlights the courage, sacrifice and bravery of the Indian armed forces. Just like the first part, Border 2 also focuses on strong patriotic emotions and the challenges faced during the war.

The film will start streaming on Netflix from March 20. However, it will be available only in the Hindi version for now. Made with a budget of around ₹275 crore, the movie reportedly collected more than ₹485 crore worldwide. The makers have also announced that another film in the Border franchise will be produced in the future.
