Iran Issues Key Statement: Good News for Certain Countries

Iran has issued a key statement, with the Iranian Defense Council announcing an important decision in this regard. Iran stated that vessels belonging to neutral countries are permitted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

However, it has clearly specified that prior authorization is mandatory for such passage. The statement added that only vessels that obtain the necessary permissions in advance will be allowed to transit through the Strait of Hormuz.
