A farmhouse party in Moinabad of Ranga Reddy District has sparked widespread discussion across Telangana after police raids revealed alleged drug use, foreign liquor consumption, and reports of gunfire. Acting on information about a luxury party at a farmhouse belonging to Rohith Reddy in the Panjugula area, police reached the spot and found a large gathering near the swimming pool where alcohol was reportedly being consumed. According to Sub-Inspector Nayeemuddin of the Moinabad Police Station, a total of 11 people, including one woman and ten men, were present at the party. During the search, police discovered evidence suggesting the use of drugs and seized several bottles of imported liquor.
The incident took a more serious turn after police reported gunfire at the farmhouse during their visit. During the inspection, officers seized a Germany-made .32 revolver, one live round, and four empty cartridges. Police also recovered 0.26 grams of cocaine from a person identified as driver Silvari Sharath Kumar. Preliminary investigation indicates that the narcotic substance might have been brought by a lawyer from Bengaluru who allegedly supplied it at the party. Drug tests conducted on the attendees returned positive results for six individuals. Police have registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and arrested 11 persons. Authorities stated that the investigation is ongoing to identify the source of the drugs and determine whether more individuals were involved.
