Trivikram Gears Up for ‘God of War’ — Builds a Dedicated Team for NTR’s Mythological Epic

Director Trivikram Srinivas is keeping himself busier than ever. His new collaboration with Venkatesh recently went on floors, with regular shooting expected to kick off in the second week of November. The team is targeting a late-summer or early-monsoon 2026 release for this project.Even as he dives into this film, Trivikram has quietly started groundwork for his next big venture, a mythological spectacle starring Jr NTR. Titled “God of War” (working title), the film is based on the legend of Lord Murugan and demands a large-scale production setup, intricate set designs, and advanced VFX work.

To bring this vision to life, Trivikram has been hiring a special technical team dedicated exclusively to this project. Pre-production will begin by December 2025, even as Trivikram continues to handle Venkatesh’s film simultaneously.Meanwhile, NTR is gearing up to restart the shoot of Prashanth Neel’s “Dragon” by the end of November. Despite recent rumors about creative differences, sources confirm that everything is back on track and the production will move forward as planned.
