Rahul Ramakrishna, who earned fame with Arjun Reddy and became one of Tollywood’s star comedians, is very active on X (formerly Twitter), frequently posting on social and political issues. Some of his posts have sparked intense controversies. Now, he’s back in the news because of tweets criticizing the ruling Congress party in Telangana and suggesting that KCR should return to save the state. This caused a major stir, as it’s rare for an actor not involved in politics to make such posts.
Additionally, on Gandhi Jayanti, Rahul posted against Gandhi, sparking further controversy. Within a few hours, his Twitter account was deactivated.
Earlier, he posted:
"Hyderabad has drowned. All your promises have failed. People want KCR to come back to fix everything."
Followed by:
"We are living in terrible conditions. We are waiting for you to come."
And he added:
"Kill me if you want. I’m tired of the current situation."
On Gandhi Jayanti, he also criticized Gandhi, claiming he was not a saint nor a Mahatma. These posts led to a huge uproar. Congress supporters and Gandhi fans attacked Rahul online. Within hours, his account went inactive. Some reports suggest Rahul claimed his account was hacked, while others allege Congress supporters threatened him into deactivating it. The truth behind the incident is yet to be confirmed.
