

Gold and silver prices continued their upward trend on Wednesday, recording a slight increase. Amid geopolitical uncertainties, investors are turning to safe-haven assets, while the weakening of the Indian rupee against the US dollar is also contributing to the rise in precious metal prices.
On January 7, at 6:30 AM, the price of 24-carat gold (10 grams) in Hyderabad reached ₹1,38,830, while 22-carat gold (10 grams) was priced at ₹1,27,260. In the national capital, Delhi, 24-carat gold (10 grams) was ₹1,38,980 and 22-carat gold was ₹1,27,410. Silver prices also showed an upward trend, increasing by approximately ₹100 per kg compared to the previous day.
